Nima Keivani practice has been concentrating on spiritual dimension of architecture, in which the creation of meaningful, enriched, and innovative spaces is remarked as a significant task. Relying on their theoretical and practical experiences, his design team utilizes up-to-dated methods and technologies to actualize the generated ideas, in which social, environmental and economic sustainability is in the core. His creativity and ideas is usually influenced by regional culture and environmental circumstances, which in a global scale, make their practice novel, unique, and useful for human society.
In his point of view, architecture should be considered in urban context, so social sustainability and its relationship with quality of urban spaces is one of the main subject of his papers in journals.
I graduated recently and live in Berlin for about 5 years now. During my studies, I focused on architectural and urban design and completed many projects, workshops, summer schools and competitions in many international locations like Beirut, Libannon (redeveloping a central city district), New York in cooperation with NYIT (finding a solution in the city for water flooding due to the natural disasters and social housing), Moscow (building up existing residential districts in the city with utopian housing proposals), Sao Paulo (a concept for public spaces and occupied building concepts in Brazil), Portugal (a project of a cultural center in a historic city context of Lisbon) and many interesting locations in Berlin. I also completed an exchange semester in Melbourne, Australia, where i focused on construction management and digitalisation methodology in the architecture field in general. At the moment I work for a real estate company in a Product Strategy team and we try to find a potential within many central city areas to densify them and build new housing (because of housing shortage) We focus mainly on developing interesting housing and co-working concepts. Especially in the times of digitalisation and rapid urbanisation, I really enjoy discussing about architecture and new ideas / new concepts for the future. Therefore I would be glad to be a part of a jury team.
