According to me - 'Teaching, is a continuous learning process!'Teaching happened to me by chance early in my career, but the satisfaction that came with it made me take it up as my full time career. I have been part of Faculty of Architecture, Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, INDIA., since 2011. I have approached my design studios in collaborative, exploratory, experimental and interdisciplinary ways. Participation in national & international competitions has been a regular activity for my students to constantly understand where they stand among their peers globally as well as nationally. Spatial design responsive to senses and responsible to environment has been my guiding design philosophy. I am currently pursuing my doctoral research in Architectural Pedagogy. My other interests are Learning spaces, Vernacular interiors, Sustainable interiors, etc. Students under my guidance have won 3 international awards (Organised by AIA Austin, Appio Spagnolo), 3 national awards (DDA, Ethosempowers) & 2 national short listing (Council of Architecture India, AYDA Nippon).

Architektonická platforma POLYCHROME působí na poli architektury v různých podobách. Projektuje a navrhuje, popularizuje a zkoumá.

Architecture shouldn't only be used for "beautiful and luxurious" buildings. Architecture should be about sending a message, about making modern housing accessible to everyone, solving housing problems in poor neighborhoods, implementing all needed functions (schools, recreation centers..) to make that neighborhood auto-sufficient, to rehabilitate poor neighborhoods into a safe, sustainable, auto sufficient neighborhood.

“We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”

An Architect is a social sciencetist and carries a great responsibility to the humanbeings and nature, being an architect i believe that designing in the present keeping the past in mind and foreseeing the future should be the main aim of any design project, Sustainability is the need of the day.
