Urbanization is more than the development and physical expansion of cities. It could be a handle that changes regions, changes existing reciprocities and sets up unused connections between diverse places.So my architectural focus is based on the value of sustainable urbanization, centering on the foremost up-to-date and squeezing points. Analyzing the natural value of cities in creating financial success, moderating natural corruption, reducing social imbalance, and building more grounded institutions, together these can drive transformative alter.

My award winning thesis project titled Eco-skyscraper done in 2011 has been published in 5+ print and 50+ digital publications. It was also exhibited at Degree & Profession Virtual Expo, Florence, Italy. I also delivered two TEDx talks about climate responsive architecture and sustainable design. I founded Rethinking The Future in 2012 with the mission to bring out the most innovative designs from across the world to the forefront, and today it is amongst the leading architecture and design platforms worldwide.

Geomilie Tumamao-Guittap

Believing in the significant role building professionals play in shaping the character, form, and quality of places and spaces for humanity, Ar. Geomilie S. Tumamao-Guittap is a passionate architecture-planning professional and development researcher. She finished B.S. Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas with honours in 2003 and served as a designer-coordinator for various commercial developments in United Arab Emirates at the height of the construction boom of early 2000. After she returned to the Philippines to earn her graduate studies in 2010, she joined the University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning (UP SURP) as a University Researcher in 2011 and graduated Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning specializing in Estate Planning and Development with honours in 2015. She currently heads the Capacity Building Subcommittee of the United Architects of the Philippines – Emergency Architects (UAP-EA) and she is actively involved in the International Network for Traditional Buildings, Architecture and Urbanism (INTBAU) – Philippine Chapter. She is engaged in various researches, outreach programs, and trainings on disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) and sustainable development.

A critical look at theoretical concepts related to the philosophy of phenomenology in the field of architecture while using current technology and knowledge to process and experience lived in the virtual environment. Experience virtual phenomenology using virtual reality technology and holograms. Understanding architecture from two conceptual perspectives of „productive essence“ and „changeable nature“. Recognizing social harms and finding the right question in the context of urban and cultural concerns and answering it by using flexible techniques in architecture so that the audience plays the main role in recognizing and achieving the final goal without the intervention of dominant ideas by the architect.
