Based in Madrid, Edgar Gonzalez leads the Bachelor in Design program at IE School of Architecture and Design. He founded EGD Edgar Gonzalez Design, a Strategic Design Agency, where he serves clients as a strategic consultant specialised in applying design processes to complex problems and narratives. As, Editor-in-chief of edgargonzalez.com since 2002, one of the main reference websites about architecture and design in the Spanish speaking world, he is tuned in to news and trends in architecture and design throughout the world.
 
Especially interested in themes at the threshold of the architectural practice, he researches the relationships between new technologies and media for creative processes and contemporary cities.  He has served as guest professor and speaker in several universities and has been the curator and designer of several exhibitions and cultural projects. From 2000 to 2002 he worked as an architect at Zaha Hadid Architects in London and at Arquitectura Torres Nadal from 2002 to 2005. He also served as an editorial designer for the  Architectural Association London, The Economist and The Guardian.
 
Holds a Bachelor in Architecture ( ITESO University, Guadalajara, Mexico, 1996) and a M.A. in Complex Architecture  (Alicante University, Alicante, Spain, 2007).

Since 2005 I have been teaching architectural design at the University, I am the head of diploma works in architecture, laureate of All-Russian and international competitions, member of the Union of Architects of Russia. I run an architectural school for children aged 11-15. Scientific interest - modern trends in the design of residential buildings, identification and development of the creative potential of schoolchildren in the process of primary architectural and art education.

Moein Jalali Architect | Designer The effort to create each architectural work with the aim of global presence and a focus on transforming each project into an influential, innovative, and leading project are notable features in my approach to architecture. The reproduction of Iranian architectural concepts in the modern era and attention to philosophical, psychological, and sociocultural concepts are part of my path in the design process. The design process, precise problem formulation, understanding the client's needs, and selecting the best strategy create favorable conditions for the creation of a successful architectural project. I hope to be a worthy representative for Iranian architecture in this international competition. They develop projects of various scales and programs, mostly located in urban environment. They use physical paper models, graphic design and photography to explore themes like materiality, light and scenography.
