Mes études mon permis de comprendre à quel point le monde nécessite d’être métamorphosé pour survivre à l’image de la biologie et du corps humains et de s’adapter à tout changement (ex le covid-19).

L’Architecture jouera le principal élément de changement - de spatialité, de cadre affectant, les modes de vie en changement permanent vu les différents événements actuels. L’Architecture, à travers ces lignes qui s’ouvre vers le monde, le public d’une part et ferme d’autre part vers le privé. De ce fait, le pouvoir d’Architecture, entre une convergence et une divergence, entre le tout et le rien, le plein et le vide, la transparence et l’opacité, entre une construction et une reconstruction. Ainsi l’Architecture procure un changement à travers des solutions créatives, et je vise faire partie de ce changement.

D’ailleurs, nous ne pourrons pas changer le monde entier à travers l’Architecture mais impérativement le monde ne peut pas être changer sans l’Architecture. »

I'm Mohammed Trabulsy, a Beirut Arab University graduate (Accredited by RIBA / Royal Institute of British Architects), and a practicing Architect since 2014. 

I recently participated in an online public seminar ‘Building Capacity & Designing Participatory Approaches to Preserve Cultural Heritage by the Youth’ as a part of the funded project with the title ‘ (Re)contextualizing contested heritage project’, #ReConHeritage, funded by Research England GCRF in collaboration with University of Leeds (UK). Through the years of practicing architecture I have designed more than 200 projects, and I have been trying to create a certain identity for myself while respecting my surrounding urban fabric.

Climate change needs actions; otherwise, the next generations will suffer. As architects, we should try to reach zero carbon in the built environment to create a better future for coming generations on mother earth.

He completed his architectural education at the Department of Architecture of the FCE at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava under the guidance of visiting professor Pavol Paňák, co-founder of the architectural office A B.K.P.Š. where he completed 2-year internship shortly after school. In 2020, he successfully completed his doctoral studies by defending his final thesis entitled "Innovations in Spatial Planning Processes" and joined the Department of Architecture as a researcher and university teacher. He also applies the acquired knowledge and research on realisations in his own architectural practice within Orava region. In the academic field, he systematically deals with regional issues with a focus on the preservation of architectural heritage in northern Slovakia.
