I'm looking for things to make sense. But at the same time I cherish all the out of the blue ideas and things which seem out of place but make an impact and are original. Also because to my film experience and interest I tend to focus on storytelling in architecture, the way it communicated its purpose, how it leads you in or make you feel good or anxious or any other way.The other thing would be technology and how it can make architecture less static and more animated. Construction and the building process are fascinating to me and I tend to appreciate designs which are aware of that stage and work with it not against it.

I am an Architect and a painter with over twenty years of professional experience in Poland and abroad. Assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology, active member of IARP and SARP. Inspired by Kenneth Frampton's Critical Regionalism, in my work I pay particular attention to design deeply embedded into the context and local conditions. I am fascinated by the space that affects the users through all their senses and shows construction solutions as an integral part of the architectural aesthetics. Thanks to my design experience in very different cultural circles, I seek in modern architecture a response to the need for identity and a sense of being rooted in a dynamically changing world. I am interested in an unconventional approach to the process of creating an architectural concept. I believe that each generation of young architects can bring vitality, energy and unique ideas to this beautiful profession.

Architecture is my passion. I love shaping the space we live in. To create it based on the constects of places, history, traditions, conditions. It is important to me that the Architecture we create interacts harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. www.juskiewicz.art

I am a licensed architect and have over 10 years of international working experience. I am interested in architecture that is susceptible to change, which transcends its location constraints and allows different functional programs to come together in time and space. My current research interests lie in the adaptation of abandoned spaces (terrain vague, post-communication spaces) and the applicability of Open Building strategies in adaptive reuse projects.

I graduated recently and live in Berlin for about 5 years now. During my studies, I focused on architectural and urban design and completed many projects, workshops, summer schools and competitions in many international locations like Beirut, Libannon (redeveloping a central city district), New York in cooperation with NYIT (finding a solution in the city for water flooding due to the natural disasters and social housing), Moscow (building up existing residential districts in the city with utopian housing proposals), Sao Paulo (a concept for public spaces and occupied building concepts in Brazil), Portugal (a project of a cultural center in a historic city context of Lisbon) and many interesting locations in Berlin. I also completed an exchange semester in Melbourne, Australia, where i focused on construction management and digitalisation methodology in the architecture field in general. At the moment I work for a real estate company in a Product Strategy team and we try to find a potential within many central city areas to densify them and build new housing (because of housing shortage) We focus mainly on developing interesting housing and co-working concepts. Especially in the times of digitalisation and rapid urbanisation, I really enjoy discussing about architecture and new ideas / new concepts for the future. Therefore I would be glad to be a part of a jury team.
