INSPIRELI AWARDS is the world's largest global student contest in Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape, and Interior Design, which in 2019 involved 136 countries. INSPIRELI AWARDS are enabling new talents to tell their stories and raise awareness about their own world view before they get their chance to build it. It brings together up-and-coming students of architecture, as well as established professionals, and provides for them a forum to connect to the general public.
INSPIRELI COMPETITION is a competition to design an the campus of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The submitted projects also compete within INSPIRELI AWARDS.
The quality standards of INSPIRELI AWARDS jury are guaranteed by the prominent experts from the professional and academic settings from around the world. The set up for the jury updates annually and the jurors are selected based on their expertise in one of the INSPIRELI AWARDS contest categories.
Contestants enter their works in three categories: (Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape, Interior Design).
The projects are nominated by the so-called Featured Jury composed of architects who support the Inspireli Awards project.
The project of the Campus of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, has its own expert jury approved by the organizers.
The INSPIRELI AWARDS is unique competition with a unique voting system that can be objective to thousands of projects. A three-round system made up of the largest jury in the history of architectural competitions.

Submitted projects will compete for two awards at the same time. In the category Architecture as a student design and in the competition for the proposal of the campus of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava
Awarded to the best students project created by ArchiCAD software
Submitted projects will compete for two awards at the same time. In the relevant category within the INSPIRELI AWARDS and in the competition that evaluates the quality and scope of use of ArchiCAD software.
Awarded to the best students project created by LUMION software
Submitted projects will compete for two awards at the same time. In the relevant category within the INSPIRELI AWARDS and in the competition that evaluates the quality and scope of 3D visualizations using LUMION software.
The submitted projects are evaluated according to the criteria, which is constantly adapted to the latest findings in formal, technical, functional and environmental requirements. The criteria below represent a framework followed by each juror.
Suitability of design to the competition
How well does the project translate and interpret lucidly and creatively the INSPIRELI AWARDS merit.
Spatial integration
Does the design complement and is sensitive to its surroundings as well as the way how the people interact with the space, does it create pride and unique character.
Functionality of the design solution
How well does the project works for the intended use, while contributing to the locality?
Innovation and originality of the design solution
Does the project create a new expression that possibly sets a new trend?
Form
Is the project managed with high quality, not as a trendy/cutting edge solution but with relevance to its audience.
Environmental consideration
How well does the project minimize negative impact on ecological environment including technical and economical feasibility.
There are three Category winners awarded, two partners prizes and one special Real Design award price.
"Architecture" Award
Awarded to the best architectural project with the highest number of votes from the jury dedicated to the Architecture category.
"Urban Design and Landscape" Award
Awarded to the best architectural project with the highest number of votes from the jury dedicated to the Urban Planning and Landscape category.
"Interior Design" Award
Awarded to the best architectural project with the highest number of votes from the jury dedicated to the Interior Design category.
"ARCHICAD" Inspireli prize
Awarded to the best students project created by ArchiCAD software.
"LUMION" Inspireli prize
Awarded to the best students project created by LUMION software.
Special Real Design Award
Independent award for the proposal of the campus of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The project will be completed by an architectural studio on the basis of the student's design.
