Jury Benefits
From 2002 to 2009 I was Coordinator of cooperation projects in Burkina Faso. With my associate study (2011-2012) I worked in Gabon and Morocco.
In the last 5 years I have been the sole manager of an architectural and construction firm called BIOARCHIRIGOTTI.
I have had a lot of work in Africa where the political situation has become unsustainable today. I'm used to solving problems in difficult situations, I like traveling even if I have daughters.
I built a € 1,000,000 cinema without site mechanization and won an award for an important research center built on the ground. I have always used only what I found on the spot in an advanced technical manner. I paid attention to natural energy, using natural ventilation techniques combined with sophisticated systems controlled by very simple software.
I used Odroid cards in rural areas with Android as software, training young illiterates with great success.
I am focused on functional design in architecture. However, my design processes involve a vast variety of basic design principle, yet I aim at the final outcome to be calm, attractive and pyschologically peaceful for users.
I am driven by an ambition to enable architecture to become a sustainable change agent. My starting point is always what buildings can do for people and local communities
heritage conservation, traditional architecture, sustainability assessment
On my career and so far , I always focused on the relation between design and reality. How to create something from nothing and in the same time based on strong and clear principles. functionality, structure, integration and materiality...
All those principles help us as people to build this special relation with spaces and places.
And provide us as architects with an infinite ways to create our masterpieces.
Modern architecture and BIM management.
I graduated recently and live in Berlin for about 5 years now. During my studies, I focused on architectural and urban design and completed many projects, workshops, summer schools and competitions in many international locations like Beirut, Libannon (redeveloping a central city district), New York in cooperation with NYIT (finding a solution in the city for water flooding due to the natural disasters and social housing), Moscow (building up existing residential districts in the city with utopian housing proposals), Sao Paulo (a concept for public spaces and occupied building concepts in Brazil), Portugal (a project of a cultural center in a historic city context of Lisbon) and many interesting locations in Berlin. I also completed an exchange semester in Melbourne, Australia, where i focused on construction management and digitalisation methodology in the architecture field in general. At the moment I work for a real estate company in a Product Strategy team and we try to find a potential within many central city areas to densify them and build new housing (because of housing shortage) We focus mainly on developing interesting housing and co-working concepts. Especially in the times of digitalisation and rapid urbanisation, I really enjoy discussing about architecture and new ideas / new concepts for the future. Therefore I would be glad to be a part of a jury team.
When establishing a design, every architect will consider what exactly they want to communicate by it.
Personally I search the Purpose of a design.
It is to decide on a strong focal point that will drive all the architectural system, draw everybody’s attention and create that perfect balance and rythm. This purpose or concept reflects in the design creating this way new buildings and the spaces in and around them. A living organism!
As a faculty in the Department of Visual Studies, University of Karachi for the past 5 years, I intent in the visionary discourse which reflects towards a social discourse of exploring architecture to a different paradigm. Architecture should listen to the spirit of places, and the needs of not just the human spirit but other living spirits. To look into architecture as healing giving intent, to living spirits – to places, to people, and to the environment.

I prefer to attend a good design process, and after that, I judge the result, of course, that attention to the detail of design in various types of buildings is so important and technology is important too, thus I like to see your great project here.
