"Like savanna" show, that inspiration from nature is also possible in architectural designing. In this project the buildings provide shadow for people like the trees provide shadow for animals on the savanna. The white, clear elevations show lowliness of the Czech Republik in foreign country, but steel, which hold contruction show potency and power of the European country.
The surface of the whole embassy is here divided for five builidngs - it provides calm, security, orderlinnes. The buildings are seemingly scattered on the area - it seems like the trees on savanna. Location of buildings is the result of the shifted borders. The residence and residential building are located 25m from the border, the official embassy builidng is located 10m form the border and the consular&visa builidng is located near border. This division is result of the access to each builidng for different people.
The elevations have several layers: first is wall (brick/stone/concrete), second is the steel construction, which hold overhang, third is the semi-translucent, polycarbonate shell, which are security from the sun and the possible attack.
The overhang is long, so there is steel, which hold whole construction. The overhang (1st floor which have not ground floor under) is made by the light materials. For example the ceiling can be made by the steel. While the rest of the building is the heavy solid by the concrete/brick/stone - has also thicker walls.
