Development of a concept for the improvement of the territory of ul. Vavilova 45a.

Vladislava Sizonenko

Project idea

The main idea of the project is to create a landscaped area in front of the house. It is planned to remove garages and create areas for recreation and communication of passers-by, since a transit route passes nearby. The emphasis will be on warm shades, taking into account the color of the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, located on the territory and being an object of cultural heritage of Russia. Also in the residential quarter there is a children's play area.

Project description

The project can be divided into two main parts. The first is a common area that can be used both indoors and in the summer. In the summer, it is planned to place tables outside, and public toilets are also provided. In this area, recreation areas will be organized: both in gazebos and in the form of separate small architectural forms (MAF) in the form of poufs protected from vandalism. Two garages belonging to the Kirovsky district, located on one side of the public recreation area, have also been preserved. The second part of the project is a multifunctional playground located opposite the cultural heritage sites. The playground is intended for children aged six to fourteen years and includes a sports corner with various exercise machines. To limit the territory from the residential building under construction, a solution is provided with the installation of a fence, from which a view of the playground opens. Trampolines, swings, a climbing slide and recreation areas will be located here. Ribbon lighting along the playground is also provided. The project presentation includes a slide with a lighting diagram.

Technical information

The project used various materials for the site covering, including decking, concrete paving slabs, natural stone slabs and several types of rubber covering. Five types of lamps are provided for lighting the space: garden and park lamps, decorative lamps for cereals, LED strips for decorating the site, steel lanterns and garden and park lamps. The number of lamps is detailed in one of the presentation schemes.

As for the design of the cafe pavilion, its walls are made of brick, and the roof is covered with tiles, which corresponds to the color scheme of the cultural heritage site located on the territory of the multifunctional site. The lifting part of the site, under which the sports corner is located, is made of concrete, and the structure of the site itself is based on a metal frame.
