Project idea

The main purpose of the concept is to create an architectural image. An architectural image is a fundamental concept of architectural composition, an informative and aesthetic–cultural aspect of the architectural and spatial environment.
An architectural image can have a significant impact on a person's emotional state. Different architectural elements can evoke a variety of emotional reactions. Accordingly, the image should be memorable, which touches to the depths of the soul, causes a whole range of different emotions.
The concept is a system aimed at developing astronomy as a science and the monumentality of architecture as a style. It is based on the idea of merging astronomy and monumental art.

Project description

The project combines two colorful and inspiring fields - astronomy and monumental art to show our humble position in the vast universe. It is based on the creation of a grandiose architectural sculpture symbolizing one of the most monumental planets – Saturn. This object will be placed on the top of the mountain to encourage viewers to reflect on the boundless beauty and mystery of space.
The architecture will be made of durable materials to last for centuries and embody the enduring power and great grandeur of astronomical objects. They will be accompanied by information booths where visitors will be able to learn more about the boundless space and the achievements of people in space exploration.
The museum will not only become a source of inspiration for people of all ages, but it will also become a reminder of how insignificant and small we humans are compared to the boundless expanse of space.

Technical information

The projected building is made according to the following design solution: the structural system is a frame with a cross arrangement of crossbars. The construction system is prefabricated and monolithic, as well as prefabricated metal
Spatial rigidity in the building is ensured by the joint work of columns, crossbars, arches, cable-stayed structures, floors and connections forming a geometrically unchangeable system. The floor height is 4100mm. The floor level of the first floor is assumed to be 0.000. The level of the earth's surface is -0.900 mm.
