Project idea

A house in Lavasan for a family of 6
The goal of designing this villa was to create a space for the family to be together and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. That's why I was inspired by the waves, because they remind me of the sound of the sea and the tranquility of the beach. The space between the villas was also designed as a shared space for family gatherings.

Project description

Each family member needed their own personal space, including art workshops, sports and play areas, etc., so each of these spaces had to be included in this design. So I placed the sports, swimming, and play areas in the basement and the tennis and outdoor gathering areas in the side yard. In addition, I did not want each member to disturb each other and to be in separate spaces while being together. That is why I divided the hole area into three villas with a common central yard and also tried to show this connection and solidarity through the interconnectedness of the roof shell.
I also included a greenhouse inside the grandparents' villa to connect with nature.

Technical information

The dominant material of the project is white concrete because it is easy to shape and can create curved forms. In addition, glass has been used in the facade. A semi-open space was also needed in this project, which was connected to the building with wavy wooden forms.
