This project envisions a vibrant Adventure Park, seamlessly integrating sports, retail, and multipurpose facilities to cultivate recreation, community engagement, and economic vitality. Designed as a multifaceted urban hub, it fosters active lifestyles and social interaction, offering a dynamic environment where leisure and commerce coexist.

At its core, the Adventure Park features a diverse array of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including obstacle courses, climbing walls, and cycling tracks, catering to individuals of all ages. Encircling these spaces are retail outlets, food courts, a state-of-the-art Sports Centre, and versatile event venues, ensuring a lively, commercially sustainable public experience. With its diverse attractions, the center is set to become
Dhaka’s premier destination for urban recreation and entertainment.

Guided by comprehensive site analysis and AI-driven volumetric studies, the design harmonizes with Purbachal’s evolving urban fabric, prioritizing accessibility, environmental sustainability, and seamless connectivity. Rooted in the New Contextualism philosophy by Dr. Mohammad Habib Reza, this project embraces a pedestrian-friendly, community-driven approach, establishing a distinctive public landmark at the heart of New Dhaka City—one that redefines recreational and commercial spaces while enriching the urban landscape.

This Urban Amenity Hub is conceived as a transformative public space, weaving together adventure, sports, commerce, and social interaction to create a thriving urban destination. Designed to offer more than just recreational facilities, it aims to redefine the relationship between activity, environment, and community, fostering an inclusive space that resonates with the evolving dynamics of New Dhaka City.

The Adventure Park serves as the project’s focal point, seamlessly integrated with retail, dining, and multipurpose event spaces, ensuring its functionality extends beyond entertainment to include economic and cultural engagement. The design considers contextual responsiveness, utilizing strategic site planning, climate-conscious architecture, and intuitive wayfinding to enhance both user experience and environmental harmony.

Through the fusion of public accessibility, innovative sports infrastructure, and flexible commercial spaces, this project aspires to establish a model for integrated urban design, where active lifestyles, economic vitality, and architectural ingenuity converge to shape a landmark that is both socially impactful and spatially dynamic.

The Adventure Park-Oriented Urban Amenity Hub is a large-scale recreational and commercial complex designed to integrate sports, retail, and multipurpose facilities within an accessible and environmentally conscious urban space. The project follows strategic spatial planning, ensuring smooth pedestrian and vehicular circulation while maintaining a strong connection to Purbachal’s evolving urban fabric.

-Structural System: Steel & Reinforced Concrete Hybrid for flexibility, durability, and efficiency
-Material Palette: Sustainable materials such as permeable concrete, timber, glass facades, and tensile membrane structures

-Passive cooling strategies and optimized solar orientation
-Green roofs and rainwater harvesting to enhance environmental efficiency
-Energy-efficient LED lighting and solar panel integration
Circulation & Connectivity:
-Dedicated pedestrian pathways, bicycle lanes, and vehicle drop-offs
-Bridged connections with super-roof canopies for shaded walkability
Primary Functional Zones:
-Adventure Park Facilities: High rope courses, climbing walls, zip lines, archery range, Ferris wheel, and canoeing dock
-Sports Complex: Football field, running track, bowling lane, and billiards area
-Commercial & Cultural Spaces: Retail stores, multiplex center, amphitheater, and souvenir shops
-Public Amenities: Walking trails, ticket counters, kiosks, and locker rooms
