The basic idea for the design of this complex is based on its approach and the greenness of the structure, inspired by the hanging gardens of Babylon.
The basic idea of the technology of using green architectural elements dates back to centuries ago, the most famous example of which is the Hanging Gardens of Babylon from the 7th century BC. According to the Greeks and a Babylonian priest, these gardens were built in New Babylon and on the banks of the Euphrates. But their exact location and structure is still not known, the reason for the name is that some people have considered the appearance of its trees from a distance on terrace-like floors, which reminded them of their being suspended in the sky. Some theories say that it is impossible to plant trees on the floors and the reason for the name refers to the creeping plants that hang from the terraces
This project is a green residential complex that has voids from the roof to the ground floor and an atrium. These voids and their placement between two residential units have created a green space between the two units. This project has a janitorial unit, recreational space, Communication spaces and green spaces on the ground floor. Residential units are considered in the upper floors and each floor has 6 residential units. On the roof, a roof garden has been designed for the use of the residents, and the light between the residential units originates from the roof windows installed in this area.
One of the important points in the selection of the structure is to pay attention to the type of use and the economic discussion, after examining the advantages and disadvantages of two examples of metal and concrete frame structures, the results show that the cost reduction, high durability of the structure, fire resistance, and easier execution are the advantages of the concrete frame. It is more than the metal frame. Therefore, according to the results of the study and economic discussion, the desired structure will be of concrete frame type.
