Project idea

The design of the Bangladesh Youth Development Institute, will optimize space utilization, improve environmental sustainability biodiversity, and foster community engagement around the site, thereby creating a functional, inclusive, and vibrant educational and cultural hub alongside with Jahangirnagar University. The main purpose of this project is to provide a living space and a place to grow for urban youths who are able to put their profound passion and energy into a variety of beneficial activities offered by this location. This location would host a variety of entertaining and educational events for urban youth to enjoy while broadening their minds. They will learn in harmony with nature. The primary objective of the project is to become the ultimate gathering place for urban youth from all over the world to meet and connect, exchange ideas and perspectives, learn about one another, and invest their energy in any activities they enjoy. For their mental and physical well-being, the center's events and activities should be attractive enough to draw people in on their own.

Project description

As the Youth Center in Bangladesh is a social and recreational facility designed for adolescents aged 18 to 35. In Bangladesh, this age group is referred to as "youth". It's becoming clear that youth training facilities are necessary to increase this generation's productivity and community involvement. Youth development has been emphasizing the multifaceted effects on the young individuals who have participated in various training programs. It produces a sense of accomplishment that helps in the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young people. Bangladesh's youth comprise about a third of the population, and the government is working on development projects to reduce unemployment and make youth self-employed.

Technical information

The building is mostly made of concrete. Louvers for the plantation include coated iron and wood slabs.
