Wellness Hotel Holešovice

Project idea

Prague 7 - Holešovice is a growing district which is becoming one of the central areas of Prague - currently there is a large project for a new residential area and in the near future the construction of the Vltava Philharmonic will begin. This adds to the list of places that are already attracting people from all over Prague and more. But currently, there are not enough facilities to accommodate the growing population and all the people coming for cultural events, etc.

• Lack of facilities → Multipurpose building
• Inefficient use of space → Vertical building
• Impassibility → New paths, passage through the Hotel
• Cluttered space → Moving all functions into 1 building
• Large occasionally used parking lots → Parks (underground garages)

Project description

Floors and their functions:
• Ground floor - Sports centre, Cafe, Hotel entrance
• 1st Floor - Swimming pool, Wellness
• 2nd Floor - Bowling, Billiard, Bar
• 3rd Floor - Conference halls
• 4th - 10th Floor - Hotel rooms
• 11th Floor - Restaurant
• Roof - Terrace with a bar

• Concrete frame (pillars in 5x5m grid)
• Supended balconies
