Project idea

Locus Sport - Indoor Sport Hall is a center for sports activities whose main facilities are basketball and volleyball courts. This indoor sports hall has a modern-minimalist concept. The word 'Locus' in Locus Sport means space (Latin) and place (English) which is expected to be a means for visitors to be able to carry out activities comfortably.

Locus Sport has the attraction of the Open Space Gym, Retail, Foodcourt and Innercourt facilities which provide a cool view because the public areas face south and have a comfortable vista to enjoy.

Project description

Locus Sport consists of 3 floors above ground, semi-basement and basement. The facilities at Locus Sport focus on Indoor Basketball and Volleyball Courts. Locus Sport's supporting and complementary facilities include an Open Space Gym which is equipped with Lockers & Showers for Gym members, Co-Working Space, Food, Beverage, Pharmacy and Equipment Retail, accompanied by a Foodcourt, Vending Machine and Sitting Area. For the competition area, the competing teams are facilitated with a team changing room, team medical room, referee room, VIP room, commentator room and lighting room. The Service Area is equipped with a Disabled Toilet and Lactation Room.

Technical information

In the substructure section, Locus Sport using soldier pile d=60cm as a retaining wall, pile foundation d=30cm, and poer measuring 120/70. In the upperstructure section, Locus Sport uses d=50cm columns, 50/70 beams, as well as a space truss roof frame structure on wide spans and uses a roof covering with insulation accompanied by a solar panel roof which can reduce the use of electrical energy.
