About it:
"Alien House" is a creative project from a Basic Design class. It tells the story of an alien that looks like a mix of a stingray and a shark, living deep in the ocean. This alien lives in a house inspired by the shape of a Nautilus shell.
The alien needs whale brain cells to survive. After getting the blood it needs, the alien kills the whale with its spine-like hands. This idea comes from real-life issues, where some people illegally hunt whales to sell their parts, which harms the ocean environment.
Whales are very important for the planet because they help capture carbon from the atmosphere. Each whale captures about 33 tons of carbon, which helps fight climate change.
The project aims to show the beauty of whales, especially mother whales and their babies swimming together in the ocean. By comparing the alien’s actions to human activities, "Alien House" wants to make people aware of how important it is to protect whales and the ocean.

Project description

The "Alien House" project aims to educate and engage people about the importance of whales and the marine environment through a creative fantasy story. By depicting an alien inspired by marine creatures who harms whales, the project draws parallels to human activities like illegal whaling. This fun and visually appealing narrative helps raise awareness about the critical role whales play in capturing carbon and combating climate change, and it encourages conservation efforts. Through collaboration with environmental groups and educational institutions, the project seeks to spread its message widely and inspire action to protect marine life.

Technical information
