Project idea

The project's name is associated with the English expression "to sow the seeds of discord". In the Russian language, "discord" has a dual meaning: "seeds/spores" and "discord."
The main goal of the project is to resolve conflicts and create an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation. The inspiration for the project came from the outbreak of the plague in Sverdlovsk, which became a metaphor for the growth of architectural space.

Project description

The project is an innovative complex that combines an educational center with a waste processing installation. To achieve this goal, an educational center is planned, organized as a labyrinth inside and as a staircase outside. It is based on the concept of a "staircase of developing conscious skills." Each step of the staircase corresponds to a specific stage of development—initially, the architecture engages and captivates people, while at later stages, it becomes calmer for deeper study. The labyrinth prevents skipping developmental stages, contributing to reducing conflicts. After passing through all stages of competence development, a person enters an open space where they have the opportunity to communicate with similar individuals, resulting in the birth of new ideas and thoughts through dialogue.
To enhance the project's ecological sustainability, it is planned to place it above ground, allowing the space under the factory to be used for plant cultivation in a greenhouse. On the upper floors, there is a research laboratory dedicated to exploring alternative forms of energy. The laboratory is designed in the shape of a tower, serving as a metaphor for observing the city and safeguarding the environment.

Technical information

To minimize toxic emissions into the atmosphere, the factory is equipped with a system similar to pneumatic mail. Instead of letter capsules, waste capsules arrive at the factory, where they are sorted and processed in designated areas.
