Project idea

The idea of the project was to design a habitat for the urban nomads of the city. It consists of DIY homes in a grid with mega columns for the services. The goal was to foster community living while giving people a choice to build and customize their own homes.

Project description

The project contains housing units with kit of parts and floor plan iterations and sections to showcase the services and activities within.

Technical information

The construction is a composite construction with mega columns acting as circulation cores and floor slabs after every 9 metres acting as service slabs. In between there are temporary steel and frp structures that can be assembled through a manual.
