Project idea

The design unfolds a narrative through a memory walk, with the monumental gate as the starting point of the narrative path and the central plaza as the end and climax of the narrative. In order to
enrich the overall spatial hierarchy and to make the most of the surrounding landscape, I inserted a diagonal box at the gate to direct the flow of people towards the river and the new main entrance
box. Inside the building, traces of history are displayed through the contrast of old and new materials, exposing the structure and materials of the old building in contrast to modern materials.
Meanwhile, for the main exhibition, the design is divided into three main sections: 1200 Jews Arriving, Worker exhibits and list room, and Jews Returning to Life, which are located on each of the three floors of Schindler's ark. Finally, the design provides a space for reflection in the main plaza, which also serves as a film location for the screening of the film Schindler's list.
