Project idea

The project is based on the use of caves as the main structure of the house. Caves will become the main spaces of an apartment building, and their length and narrowness will give an unusual and mysterious character to the complex. Preserves and emphasizes the natural beauty and uniqueness of the caves inside and outside the living space. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to take into account the shape and size of caves, creating architectural solutions that will perform two functions: preserving the natural beauty of caves and ensuring comfortable living.

Project description

The rural settlement of Kurumoch is located in the Samara region in the Volzhsky district and is a very interesting and unique territory.
It has a rich history, which is associated with the development of the agricultural sector in the region. There are many agricultural enterprises here that produce grain, milk, meat, vegetables and other agricultural goods. Kurumoch is the center of agriculture and peasant labor in the region.

One of the main attractions of Kurumoch is nature. The area surrounding the settlement is amazingly beautiful. Here you can observe picturesque fields and forests, which are especially impressive in autumn, when the leaves change their bright colors.
The settlement is also located near another place, namely near the settlement of Shiryaevo, which is known for its "Shiryaevsky tunnels", and a large amount of mined minerals.

The tunnels are a very large underground labyrinth, which were created by human hands. They were needed for the extraction of minerals, namely for the extraction of limestone. From small mines, the tunnels have turned into a small town with its own infrastructure.

Since the settlement is located near the Shiryaevsky tunnels, where limestone was mined, this is an excellent reason to introduce the creation of "stone paper" into the agriculture of the settlement, printing and packaging products, decorative wallpaper, disposable paper products are made from it

Technical information

When choosing a foundation that is better suited for a narrow but long building, you need to take into account the length of the building, so it is important to choose a foundation that will provide sufficient strength and stability of the building.

A pile foundation was chosen. It consists of vertical elements (piles) that are driven into the ground to a certain depth. This type of foundation is usually used in cases where the soil is not strong enough, and since our house is located on the banks of the Volga River, it belongs to this type.

Piles will be placed at a certain distance from each other along the entire length of the house, providing the necessary support.
The cross beams will be installed at certain intervals along the length of the house and serve to distribute the load. The racks will be installed to support the cross beams and ensure the strength and stability of the structure.
