Iris Van Herpen Exhibition - Malak Hasan

Project idea

This project focuses on the creation and development of a showroom/ exhibition for one of the artists/ designers who have collaborated with the brand United Nude. The designer chosen for this project was the fashion designer Iris Van Herpen, who is known for her innovative and creative designs.

Project description

This project consists of multiple programs that each function to benefit the client, Iris Van Herpen, and the customers/ viewers who enjoy art, fashion design, architecture and interior design.

Upon entry there is a reception that is built in within the structure of the main element that is inspired by Iris Van Herpen’s designs.

On the right there is a welcoming area/ bar for visitors as well as resting areas. On the left the designer’s extraordinary dresses are displayed to be seen from the outside and create a sense of curiosity to people passing by.

In the center there are displays on the left and the right that are attached to the structure/ element that eventually lead to the end of the building where the stairs are located on the right.

First floor is designed for VIP clients where there’s a 3D printer (as the designer includes 3D printing in most of her designs) as well as private lounges and fitting rooms for customized clothing.

Technical information

The construction of the element is made of fiberglass. It is placed in a warehouse where the floors are polished concrete.
