Project idea

The main idea of the project is to improve the embankments of the city. An important factor is the competent inclusion of public spaces into the existing city infrastructure. This will allow for efficient use of the territory and attract visitors thanks to the necessary communications

Project description

A fundamental element of the Techno-wharf concept is the extended wharf, which unfold many functional scenarios. The landing stages, which take over part of the wharf functionality, allow to expand the sections of the embankment. That's why all the wharf is a self-rebuilding mechanism. The manufacturability of the wharf is also conditioned by robotic assistants which coexist with the urban population as part of the daily activities. In addition, the two-level viaducts allow the wharf to be connected to the main center of the city and they become an area for walking, sports and development. The educational function is supported by the creation of an educational cluster that fills an empty space and creates a center of attraction at the middle of the wharf.  The presence of information functions is caused by aerostats that hold casing and advertising screens
The concept of a transport hub for airships, which become an important functional part of the transport city, is also presented. Airships combine transport, excursion and entertainment functions, thus becoming an aerial center of attraction. The terminal is supported by a waiting point for short stays in the city, where you can get acquainted with the cultural characteristics of the city and region.

Technical information

Most of the structures on the techno-embankment, including viaducts, are made of metal. In addition, there are tension shells made of polymer materials. There are also demo-season pavilions, which can be made of concrete. The educational cluster is a parametric shell of concrete and glass supported by a metal frame. The transport hub for airships is also made of metal to ensure structural strength
