Project idea

The project reimagines the 8th workshop of the Dagdizel plant, where naval weapons were manufactured and tested. The author proposes to turn it into a hotel and fill it with new functions.

Project description

The architectural island is placed on the water surface. It is based on a modular principle, which makes it easy to scale and change the structure of the facility depending on needs.

Technical information

The residential function of the hotel is concentrated inside the old building, and public spaces “overgrow” it like shells: a football field, a games room, a gym, a fishing area, terraces and reading rooms.
