Project idea
In order to protect Schindler's legacy, this project adopts the design
principle of maximally protecting the original appearance of the original
architectural heritage.
Project description
The design of the memorial park is based on the concept of looking back
on the long river of history. At the entrance on the south side of the site,
a path is created to travel upstream, from today to the historical place
eighty years ago. The solemnity and spirituality of historical memory
are reconstructed by means of spatial design and organization in the
path, and the reflection on the war and the collective memory of specific
historical events are reshaped into the cognitive memory of contemporary
individuals.
Technical information
The project maximizes the preservation of the original building's exterior facade and structure, with only repainting and renovation indoors.
