Project idea

A hotel that is not only a place to rest and vacation, but can also be a place to collaborate and preserve culture.

Project description

Amarta is an apartment that shows the harmony between traditionality and modernity. The area has two towers: Yudhistira and Draupadi. Yudhistira Tower is already used for apartments, and Draupadi Tower will be used for hotels.

The location of the project is in the Sleman district in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, which is a cultural and business area because of its strategic location. In recent years, Yogyakarta has experienced a significant increase in the number of tourists, which drives the need for quality accommodation. The owner wants an innovation in the hotel design that reflects the philosophy of Amarta and the name of the tower.

I'm using the concept of "Serene Serenity: Javanese Aesthetics and Draupadi's Tale in Interior Design." The concept is inspired by the name of the building tower and the branding concept of Amarta. It creates a comfortable, quiet, and harmonious interior inspired by the aesthetic of Java and the story of drupadi. It arouses a sense of tranquility, balance, and cultural richness.

Each room has a story of every phase of the life of Draupadi, so each room gives a different nuance to the Java architectural envelope inspired by the Joglo Building, which is the native home of Yogyakarta.
The concept is expected to strengthen the brand identity of the hotel, attract tourists, preserve Java culture, and raise the economy of the local community.
