Project idea

The idea of Noor Rehabilitation center for addiction is to solve the problem of lack awareness of how to deal with addiction and control it that Among the age group below 20, one every 36 persons had tried addictive substance at least once 16 of those who tried illicit drugs will turn into regular use, 4 of regular user will fall into addiction, most ages prone to addiction 15-29 years old which are the essence of the society , Noor has sea view which is suitable view for healing environment the main object of the project is to create safe and calm environment that aims to treat drug and alcohol addiction and increases addicts' satisfaction that make them feel of belonging while reducing their stress through a step-by-step journey of healing and increase the awareness of the society

Project description

First and second treatment stages (Detoxification and medication) consist of :
Welcoming entrance which has caffe and administration ,clinics ,labs and accommodation rooms with all facilities .

Third and Fourth treatment stages (behavioural therapy and after care) consist of :
Welcoming entrance for visitors and recreation spaces to provide healthy healing environment , behavioural therapy stage consist of art, music and crafts therapy , after care stage consist of awareness zone with MPU halls to increase awareness of the society and learn them how to deal with addiction and also consists of exhibitions halls to show patient's arts music and all the products they made in the behavioural therapy stage to make the project not only for healing but also has a good impact for patients

Technical information

Linear Part: Dark Stages
Concept: The linear design can symbolize the more challenging, dark stages of addiction recovery. This part of the facility could represent a journey with a clear direction, emphasizing the progression through initial struggles.
Design Elements:
Straight Corridors: Representing the path through the difficult early stages.
Dim Lighting: To evoke the sense of the struggle and hardship.
Structured Layout: Clearly defined spaces for specific activities like detox, counseling rooms, and medical supervision.
Limited Windows: To create a more introspective and focused environment.
Circular Part: Light Stages
Concept: The circular design can symbolize the brighter, more hopeful stages of recovery, where individuals start to regain their strength and look forward to a better future. The circular shape can represent continuity, support, and a sense of community.
Design Elements:
Open, Circular Spaces: Representing inclusivity, support, and the ongoing nature of recovery.
Natural Lighting: Large windows or skylights to bring in natural light, symbolizing hope and positivity.
Flexible Layout: Open spaces that can be used for group activities, therapy sessions, and communal gatherings.
Garden or Courtyard: Central green space to promote relaxation and connection with nature.
