Project idea

THE HOTEL IS DESIGNED TO BE A PROMINENT SYMBOL OF THE CITY OF BENGHAZI. THEREFORE, IT MUST REFLECT THE CITY'S CULTURE AND LOCAL ARCHITECTURE BY INCORPORATING TRADITIONAL ELEMENTS SUCH AS ARCHES AND LIGHT COLORS. THE DESIGN CONCEPT FOCUSES ON CREATING A HOTEL THAT BLENDS HISTORICAL CHARM WITH MODERNITY, WHILE CONSIDERING THE HOT DESERT CLIMATE OF THE CITY.

Project description

Due to the lack of attention to its local identity , In the heart of Benghazi city, the new 4-star hotel shines as a modern landmark overlooking its stunning lake. The project combines luxury and elegance in its design, inspired by its cultural heritage and contemporary charm. The hotel's prime location allows easy access to major cultural and commercial landmarks, making it an ideal destination for travelers and visitors alike.

Technical information

To achieve balance between the large hotel openings and the impact of sunlight and temperatures, we relied on using multiple terraces with varying gradients. These terraces are filled with greenery that helps purify indoor air and provide protection from harsh sunlight. Additionally, we utilized expansive roofs transformed into green roofs, harmonizing the building perfectly with the surrounding nature.

This approach not only enhances aesthetic connection with the local context but also effectively integrates sustainable practices.
