Project idea

The concept of the project is to enhance the International Fair of Sfax by developing a new extension that includes a business hotel with a prominent view of Habib Bourguiba Road's main axis. This project aims to serve as an inviting gateway to the city of Sfax, strategically located to ensure visual continuity along the Habib Bourguiba axis. The architectural design features a distinctive form symbolizing a dome, seamlessly connecting with the historic Sfax Fair through the use of slanted, curved lines. Moreover, it is envisioned as a multifunctional hub, integrating various functions such as exhibition spaces, dining facilities, cafes, an auditorium, and more, creating a vibrant and dynamic environment that caters to both business and leisure activities. This development highlights the cultural and economic significance of the fair and aims to invigorate the urban landscape and foster community engagement.

Project description

Coming to the building, the ground floor spaces are dedicated to exhibitions, providing a dynamic area for showcasing various displays. The first floor continues this theme with additional exhibition areas, complemented by various restaurants to enhance the visitor experience. The second floor offers a panoramic view of the city of Sfax, serving as a meeting space for its residents. This level also features a selection of restaurants and cafes, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere for locals and visitors.
