Project idea

The advantage of the land on which it was designed is forest park located just beyond its border. Park customized concept. The main idea was to create disposition ,which enables quick and clear traffic flow.

Project description

The new building is located in the city of Trnava in western Slovakia. Large glass wall at the back of the house provides a view of the forest. A strip of broadleaved trees is designed to symbolize the idea of the continuation of the forest to the land lot. The boundary between the indoor and outdoor space is formed by a covered wooden terrace. Exterior of the house presents white plaster supplemented with wooden laminated elements, which symbolize the natural character and create protection against the weather. Architectural choice gives the overall design of the house a touch of functionalistic modern. The house stands out for its unique disposition centered around the core. The interior design also has a natural character.

Technical information

A simple wall construction system with simple reinforced concrete foundations is designed. the exterior walls structure is formed by the Porotherm ceramic system thickness 440mm and internal bearing walls thickness 300mm. The partitions are 115mm thick. The core is also made of Porotherm ceramic brick with wooden panels. The roof structure is a flat roof on reinforced concrete ceiling slab. It is the extensive vegetation roof .
