Project idea

This project aims to design a new building for Ciputra University Jakarta as part of the Ciputra Group's development in the education sector. The building's design is expected to adapt to urbanism, creating a harmonious relationship between urban density and a healthy environment. Through this adaptive concept, the building will integrate green elements and open spaces to support balanced and sustainable urban living, as well as create an innovative and inspiring learning environment for students.

Project description

Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is a bustling city. Hence, the design concept for Ciputra University Jakarta incorporates terracing, an Indonesian tradition in agriculture, traditional architecture, art, and environmental preservation. By implementing this concept, Ciputra University Jakarta can prioritize Indonesian culture and a green environment. The terraced form creates green spaces on each floor, strengthening the relationship between urban density and a healthy environment. This allows students to experience the dynamic balance of Jakarta's urban life while providing spaces that optimally support the teaching and learning process.

Technical information

This building meets green building requirements, including the use of vertical landscaping on the podium roof, which improves air quality, building thermal insulation, and reduces noise. Additionally, it is equipped with a water treatment plant to ensure proper utilization of all water.
