Project idea

"A Glimpse to the Forgotten World":

The human longing for a perfect world is a unifying experience, rooted deep within our hearts as a yearning for the realms we once cherished and the memories we forged there. This is why the promise of heaven captivates us - we despise our present conditions and desperately crave an alternative existence. Throughout history, visions of idyllic realms beyond our flawed world have enthralled the human imagination, fueling an insatiable quest to transcend our current limitations. The project "national cultural center of ethiopia" seeks to tap into this universal desire by elevating its form above the ground, evoking a sense of another realm suspended in time and space, offering the viewer a respite and a chance to glimpse the forgotten world within.

Project description

This multifaceted project blends educational facilities, culinary experiences, and recreational spaces to create a hedonistic architectural environment. It features performance venues, exhibition halls, and a expansive urban living room where people can gather and enjoy themselves. Importantly, the design also promotes and applies principles of sustainable architecture, integrating the built environment seamlessly with the natural world. The aim is to provide a well-rounded experience that caters to the intellectual, gastronomic, and social needs of the community, all within an immersive setting that celebrates humanity's connection to nature.
