Florenc Railway Station / Železniční stanice Florenc

Project idea

The diploma thesis is dealing with redevelopment of Masarykovo nádraží
station, Florenc central bus station and surrounding localities in Prague.
Prerequisite for the whole design is the construction of „New connection II“
(city railway tunnels).

Diplomová práce se zabývá přestavbou území Masarykova nádraží v Praze,
Ústředního autobusového nádraží Florenc a přilehlých lokalit. Základním
předpokladem je realizace Nového spojení II (městské železniční tunely).

Project description

Brand new urban tissue is designed on the site of current central bus station
and unused rail tracs. Main feature is a new boulevard – Na Florenci street.
There are new apartment buildings, office buildings and another houses which
suitably complete current tissue.
The area around the new railway track and station including following public
spaces is explained more in detail in the second part of the thesis. Architectural
design of adjacent buildings as well as green vegetation concept, concept
of traffic and concept of technical infrastructure are integral to the diploma
thesis.

Na místě autobusového nádraží a nevyužívaného kolejiště je navržena zcela
nová městská struktura, kde je hlavním prvkem nová městská třída – ulice
Na Florenci. Jsou zde navrženy nové bytové domy, administrativní budovy
a další stavby, které vhodně doplňují nynější městskou strukturu.
V druhé části práce je podrobněji řešena lokalita kolem nové železniční trati
a železniční stanice včetně navazujících veřejných prostranství. Součástí
řešení je i architektonický návrh přilehlých budov, koncepce zeleně, dopravy
a technické infrastruktury.
