Project idea

The subject of my bachelor's project is a children's art school for 150 students in Odesa at 113A Dobrovolskyi Avenue.

The goal of my project was to create an environment in which a person could get free access to modern education in various types of arts, to provide the most comfortable space that would attract the attention of residents, and was able to develop the surrounding area. Art schools play an important role in the cultural life of modern society, providing a platform for self-realization of children and adolescents through various types of creativity.
The relevance of the project is determined by the population's need for places for cultural development and recreation.

The Children's School of Arts project is located on a plot in Odesa at 113A Dobrovolsky Avenue.

The selected plot has a straight shape with a calm relief, on the territory of the plot there was a house for the elderly, which was destroyed by fire. In 2014, the construction of a shopping center was planned on the site, but at the time of the inspection, the construction was abandoned, and the site was neglected.
The project provided for redevelopment on the site of the Children's School of Arts, parking, a square in front of the building's main entrance, a commercial entrance from Zabolotny Street, sports and children's playgrounds, a summer theater, and the arrangement of quiet and active recreation areas. Landscaping in the form of paths, entrances, green spaces, lawns, fountains, an alley, summer tetra, football, basketball and children's playgrounds is provided on the site.

During the search for the image, several versions of the sketches were developed, but the main idea was the shape of the building, which simultaneously supports Dobrovolsky Avenue and Zabolotny Street with its facades and has blocks that are visually separated by height and decoration.

The image of the building consists of 3 blocks of two and three floors, which are inscribed in the shape of the plot, the project provides for the organization of the plot in such a way that the building seems to cut the corner of the street, leaving space in front of the main entrance for the organization of the square, and wings separate the inner territory from the roadways and create a quiet inner alley.

The building is designed in a modern style with the use of warm natural colors, dark wood and greenery, which creates an atmosphere of coziness and warmth and adds variety to the typical residential area and attracts the attention of passers-by in the main flow of traffic along Dobrovolsky Avenue.

Тема мого бакалаврського проекту Дитяча школа мистецтв на 150 учні в місці Одеса за адресою проспект Добровольського 113А.

Метою мого проекту було створення середовища, в якому людина могла б отримати вільний доступ до сучасного навчання різноманітним видам мистецтв, забезпечення максимально комфортного простору, що привертав би увагу жителів, та мав змогу розвинути прилеглу територію. Школи мистецтв відіграють важливу роль у культурному житті сучасного суспільства, надаючи майданчик для самореалізації дітей та підлітків через різні види творчості.
Актуальність проекту обумовлена потребою населення в місцях для культурного розвитку та відпочинку.

Проект Дитячої школи мистецтв росташований на ділянці в місці Одеса за адресою проспект Добровольського 113А.

Обрана ділянка має прямоту форму із спокійним рельєфом, на території ділянці знаходився будинок для літніх, який був знищений пожежою. У 2014 році на ділянці було заплановане будвництво торгівельного центру але на момент обстеження будівництво є покинутим, а ділянка занедбана.
Проектом було передбачено росташування на ділянці Дитячої школи мистецтв, паркування, площі перед головним вхом будівлі, хозяйтвенний підїзд із вулиці Заболотного, спортивні та дитячі майданчики, літній театр, улаштування зон тихого та активного відпочинку. На ділянці передбачен благоустрі у вигляді доріжок, підїздів, зелених масивів, газонів, фонтанів, алеї, літнього тетру, футбольного, баскетбольного та дитячого майданчиків.

Під час пошуку образу було розроблено декілька варіантів ескізів, але головною ідеєю стала форма будівлі яка підтримує фасадами одночасно проспект Добровольського та вулицю Заболотного та має блоки які візуально відокремлюються висотністю та оздобленням.

Образ будівлі складається з 3 блоків двух та трьох поверхів, які вписані у форму ділянки, проектом передбачена організація ділянки таким чином що будівля ніби зрізає кут вулиці, залишаючи місце перед головним входом для організації площі, та крилами відокремлює внутрішню територію від проїжджих частин і створю тиху внутрішню алею.

Будівля запректована у сучасному стилі із використанням теплих натуральних кольорів, темного дерева та озеленення, що створює атмосферу затишку і тепла та додає різноманітності у типову забудову спального району і привертає увагу перехожих основній потік котрих відбувається по проспекту Добровольського.

Project description

According to the general zoning of the building, shelters and storage rooms are arranged in the basement
On the first floor there are:
Entrance block, administrative and food blocks, cultural and entertainment block and dance department block.
On the second floor, an information and lecture block and a block of classes for music classes are located
On the third floor, a block of classrooms for classes in fine arts has been erected.
Common for all floors are vertical and horizontal communication blocks and recreational areas.

In the basement, there is a shelter for 400 people with direct exits to the street and directly into the school building, and the underground floor is equipped with an evacuation ramp for people with limited mobility.

On the first floor, an entrance group with a vestibule and a ramp for people with reduced mobility, spacious corridors, classrooms for choreography classes with equipped changing showers and bathrooms are designed. Also designed is a 300-seat auditorium in which mass events and concerts can be held, premises for servicing the hall: artistic, costume, and scenery warehouses.
Also provided are a large lobby with an atrium and a buffet as waiting areas, on the second floor there is an atrium, a second world of the auditorium, a small rehearsal room, classrooms for music and individual classes, a library with auxiliary rooms, lecture, recreation areas and waiting areas, on the third floor designed classrooms for classes in fine arts, sculpture, design, auxiliary facilities and a recreational and exhibition area.
Large terraces for public use are also planned on the second and third floors.

За загальним зонування будівлі, у підвальному поверсі облаштовані укриття та складські приміщення
На першому поверсі росташовані:
Вхідний блок, адміністративний та харчовий блоки, культурно-видовищний блок та блок танцювального відділення.
На другому поверсі росташовані інформаційно-лекційний блок та блок класів для музичних занять
На третьому поверсі росташован блок класів для занять із образотворчих мистецтв.
Обеднуючими для усіх поверхів є вертикальні та горизонтальні комунікативні блоки та рекреаційні зони.

У підвальному поверсі росташоване укриття на 400 чоловік із прямими виходами на вулицю та беспосередньо у будівлю школи, також підземний поверх облаштований евакуаційним спуском для маломобільних груп населення.

На першому поверсі запроектована вхідна група із тамбуром та пандусом для маломобільних груп населення, просторі коридори, класи для занять хореографією із облаштованими перевдягальнямі душовими кабінами та санвузлами. Також запроектований глядацький зал на 300 місць у якому можна проводити масові заходи та концерти, преміщення для обслуговування залу: артистичні, котюмені, склади декорацій. Також передбачені велике фойє із атріумом та буфет як зони очікування , на другому поверсі розташовані атріум, другий світ глядацького залу, мала репетеційна зала, класи для музичних та індивідуальних занять, бібліотека із допоміжними приміщеннями, лекційна, рекреаційні зони та зони очікування, на третьому поверсі запроектовані класи для занять з образотворчих мистецтв, скульптури, дизайну, допоміжні приміщення та рекреаційно-виставкова зона.
Також на другому та третьому поверсі запроектовані великі тараси для загального користування.

Technical information

The structural system is frame, boltless. Spatial rigidity is provided by the foundation, load-bearing frame, seismic belt, floor and covering, and most of the structures are designed monolithic. The height of the hall from the finishing floor to the bottom of the protruding structures is 6 m.

The ceiling of the hall is equipped with cross trusses with dimensions of 1.5 m and 1 m.

The decoration of the site is made thanks to landscaping, paving stones and the arrangement of small architectural forms, which include platforms, fountains, street lamps, benches and urns.

The general organization of the site is such that each zone is isolated thanks to landscaping, and the zone of quiet recreation is separated from zones of active recreation

The main avenue is a complementary element of the organization of the site for the main object - the art school, and is a center of quiet relaxation

The active recreation area includes a children's playground, a summer stage and sports fields.

These facilities enable children and adults to participate in active pastimes and mass events.

In the arrangement of all impurities, decorative plaster, wood and landscaping are used, which repeat the color scale of the facade of the building, and for better orientation, the zones inside the building are separated by different colors.

The floor of the common areas, except for bathrooms, changing rooms and technical equipment, is made of light-colored polished concrete, which determines its high wear resistance, and the false ceiling is made of plasterboard and painted in matte white.

Such rooms as bathrooms, changing rooms and technical rooms are decorated with ceramic tiles with an imitation of natural stone.

Конструктивна система каркасна, безригельна. Просторова жорсткість забезпечена фундаментом, несучим каркасом, сейсмічним поясом, перекриттям і покриттям а більшість конструкцій запроектовано монолітними. Висота приміщення зали від чистової підлоги до низу виступаючих конструкцій складає 6 м.

Перекриття зали забезпечено перехресними фермами габаритними розмірами 1,5м та 1м.

Оздоблення ділянки виконано завдяки озелененню, мощення камінням та влаштуванням малих архітектурних форм до я ких належать майданчики, фонтани, вуличні ліхтарі, лавки та урни.

Загальна організація ділянки є такою що кожна зона є відособленою завдяки озелененню, а зона тихого відпочинку відокремлена від зон активного відпочинку

Головна алея є доповнюючим елементом організації ділянки для головного обєкту - школи мистецтв, та є центром тихого відпочинку

До зони активного відпочинку відносяться дитячий майданчик, літня сцена та спортивні майданчики.

Ці об'єкти надають змогу дітям та дорослим долучитися до активного проведення часу та масових заходів.

В улаштуванні всіх примішень використовується декоративна штукатурка дерево та озеленення, які повторюють кольорову гамму фасаду будівлі, а для кращої орієнтації зони всередині будвлі відділені різними кольорами.

Підлога загальних приміщень окрім санвузлів, раздягалень та технічних примішень виконана із полірованого бетону світлого кольору, що обумовлює її високу ізносостійкіть, стеля підшивна виконана із гіпсокартону та пофарбована у матовий білий колір.

Такі приміщення як санвузли, раздягальні та технічних приміщення оздоблені керамічною приткою із імітацією під натуральний камінь.
