Project description

Wina Salon House of Beauty is the first beauty salon in Jepara and established in 1975 (moved to the current building in 1976). This salon was founded by Mrs. Windrati initially channeled her hobby and filled her free time until now it has become her main livelihood and is known throughout Jepara. The goal of the design is relieves fatigue from busy daily activities helps relax, and providing mental well-being and self-confidence for each user (owner, staff, customers). Curved shapes evoke positive emotions (approachable and friendly) and help us feel comfortable with our surroundings. Spacious layout gives the feeling of freedom & friendliness. Arranging rooms close each other according to the type of activities in each room. It helps users to find the destined room effectively so that users feel comfortable. Placing items neatly and not placing too many items will give the impression of being spacious, creating a sense of calm, reducing stress and feelings of anxiety. The natural texture makes every user feel purity and closeness to nature as well as a luxurious impression, fitting with the luxurious and authentic identity of the salon. Wina Salon House of Beauty also wants to highlight the salon's authentic and classy identity so that to represent its "authentic" character there will be a waiting room with a "hall of history" concept to show the achievements and tell the history of the salon from year to year so as to increase customer trust, connectedness & dependence on each other, especially first-time customers. The touch of neutral color tone, soft manmade lighting, and natural elements will give the impression of luxury, peace, calm, and provide a relaxing effect.
