Project idea

The idea of this project is the tranformation of the abandoned factory of Osckar Schindler to a museum and to a leisure park for tourists and city residents to enjoy.

Project description

The main idea of the project is to clean up the site, making it simpler and more purposeful. To do this, only the original factory buildings were kept and all the additions made over the years to the original project were destroyed.

Technical information

The idea is, wherever possible, to maintain and reuse the original structure of the buildings in order to retain their essence.
On the outside, all the original materials were kept.
Inside, the materials were kept in the museum building, and changes were made to the administration buildings, bathrooms and restaurants.
