Technical information

Structural system:

• Frame made of monolithic reinforced concrete: The main load-bearing frame of the building will be made of monolithic reinforced concrete. This will ensure strength, durability and earthquake resistance.
• Brick Infill: The spaces between reinforced concrete columns and beams will be filled with brickwork. Handcrafted bricks made by local artisans will add authenticity and aesthetic appeal to the building.

National technologies:

• Use of handmade bricks: Handmade bricks are a traditional building material in the region and provide excellent thermal insulation and sound absorption.
• Carved Wood Elements: Traditional carved wood elements will be used to decorate the façade and window frames, adding local flavor to the building.
• Ceramic tiles: Colored ceramic tiles will be used to cover the facade and create decorative elements that reflect the national culture.

Modern technologies:

• Energy Efficient Windows: Energy efficient double or triple glazed windows will be installed to reduce heat loss and save energy.
• Facade insulation: The facade will be insulated with modern materials such as mineral wool or expanded polystyrene to provide thermal insulation and reduce heating costs.
• Smart home systems: Apartments will have smart home systems installed, allowing residents to control lighting, heating and other functions using smartphones or tablets.

Layout:

• The building will have a rectangular layout with a central entrance and staircases.
• The apartments will be designed to suit modern housing needs, with spacious rooms, large windows and balconies.
• The ground floor will contain commercial premises such as shops or cafes.

Sustainable Features:

• Use of eco-friendly materials: innovative bricks that recycle waste and produce electricity. Bio-building bricks are capable of absorbing resources from sunlight, wastewater and air. The bricks can be connected to each other to create a “bio-wall” that can be used in housing, public buildings or office spaces. • Each block will contain a microbial fuel cell filled with programmable synthetic microorganisms.
