Project idea

In city life, people stuck in a closed boundary for lacking of enough breathing open space . Lacking of breathing space in a building affect to their physical and mental health. But most of the places have no enough open space to provide breathing space. So it’s need to integrate breathing space with buildings.

Project description

Like a human body, Respiratory membrane helps to exchange the gases carbon dioxide and oxygen. This membrane helps bring oxygen into the blood and remove carbon dioxide.

I proposed a portable respiratory membrane that can be installed in outer layer of a building which acts like a respiratory membrane of a building where people can breath and exchange some moment with others.

People can spend some moment in those green balcony space for enjoying with the view from balcony to outside creates a serenity feel and balcony connected with a common and bigger balcony platform with portable wooden plate stairs for creating an interaction if needed the stair can be disconnected. For it's portability, the facade, balcony platform and stairs can be changed and moved anywhere if needed.

Technical information

The whole membrane is made of Recycled Steel & Wood for easy carrrying. All the module is movable that can slide the module as they want. Every moduler space can arrange with greenery element like plant and creeper.
This can also used in abandoned set back between two buiding for utilizing the space as breathing communal space. But there is need minimum 10-12 ft wide of set back to replace this portable membrane.
