Project idea

The exploration of the public and private conveyed new interpretations
and design thinking within the architecture. My schema consists of columns, walls and orientation that would open up ideas to be explored further, applying these abstract means on to site and the development of the design. Each week was a progression of ideas that related back to
the schema, with the help of architectureal precedent and site context
inspirations to help analysis it further. The experimental performance
theatre was seen in the early stages that had been deeply followed in
later disvoeries. The arc lines and points were investigated through
material models. The progression had to been refined in week9, the
spaces become intersect, seperate and layering, and the streetscape
is a blend between the urban orthogonal site, and the movement from
the Domain to the city.

Technical information

This portfolio contains the stuudies of Jorn Utzon's Kingo House in
Danmark and the progression of the performance space project. The
exploration of the public and private conveyed new interpretations
and design thinking within the architecture. Like Utzon's schema's,
they were used to provoke the strategy for the Kingo House using
with a set of rules he created.
