Project idea

•project concept :
The project aims to highlight the importance and history of the jewelry industry,
educate people about its evolution throughout the ages. Especially in Egypt where it flourished and specialized by its uniqueness throughout the Pharaonic era, which mixed up with other civilization to yield a special compilation of articraft characteristic to the Egyptian jewelry industry.and revive it through new and advanced methods. The project also includes providing educational courses for those interested in learning this craft, as well as providing a temporary exhibition to support new projects and offer the opportunity to rent the temporary exhibition monthly or yearly basis.
Additionally, the project involves redesigning the Van Gogh Museum to add a touch of luxury, sophistication, and comfort. The project is characterized by its contracts with some important global brands in the jewelry industry, which helps to achieve the project's defined goals.

Project description


Van Gogh museum has been designed in order to provide the sensation of comfort luxurious mode .
The intention was to create a sleek and antitraditional elegance that symbolized wealth and sophistication as in the jewelry.
So we use luxury organic style &combination of contemporary futuristic style Its products included both individually crafted luxury mode.

•In response to the 2030 vision of the Egyptian government to make Alamein city as a destination for tourism so
The project aims to create a unique and innovative project to be located in Egypt as attractive site for tourism .

•Location &site analysis:
"The choice of the location for the city of New Alamein was made to contribute to the provision of various activities and projects, and to increase the population of the city. The location was chosen on the main road for easy access and visibility to people. As for the urban appearance, it was selected in a modern urban environment that matches the style of the surrounding architecture. The location and land were chosen in a place that allows for different levels and elevations, as well as the presence of a basement."

•Structural analysis:
The form
the Ring structure & Tehrab connected by the escalator that connect the ground and basement floor the design of the culture center prioritize structure stability, safety, unity .
*Mass analysis: it consists of 2 blocks
The designed area = 8000m2 ground floor=4000 m2
The basic architecture building structure (for the Ring is 18m height -for Tehrab 10 m heigh)

•Zoning &analysis :
The” ring “structure consists of (museum , temporary & permanent exhibition )
The “Terhab “ (educational zones -historical zones & administration zones )
•The ground floor:
“the Ring “ contains(reception -permanent exhibition).
“The Terhab structure “contains (entrance& security_ reception_ lobby _ library _ workshops- lecturer halls- cafe ).
*The theatre .
Each have its own separate entrance &reception .
•First floor: “the mezzanine “
•The Ring : “the peak floor“ contains( crestals & diamonds )
•The Terhab structure"terhab" :hologram (vr -ar) zone -laboratory- offices ( legal & financial -hr -manager -meeting room -the designers room ..)
the lab has glass panoramas that allow visitors to see the restoration & work process.
•the basement:
The Ring structure: it contains the temporary exhibition & the museum

Technical information

Materials that can be used in the construction :
The main structure is made of “GFRC” (glass fiber reinforced concrete) loaded on steel structure to represent the fluidity of the structure.
The materials used for decoration & furniture “GRP”(glass fiber reinforced polyester)
The GRP panels also used for the stairs construction fixed on a steel structure.
Other materials used (acrylic-Corian -glass-steel with different shades )
