Architectural studio "Above the roofs"

Project idea

The architectural studio "Over the Roofs" is located in the pavilion of the Builders' Park in Rostov-on-Don. The project is inspired by V. Mayakovsky's poem "Listen" and the architecture of modernism.

Project description

The public and work areas are located on different levels. The basis of the workshop's planning solution is a reference to the three-part structure of the poem: 2 blocks are connected by a bridge. The part of the ceiling above the bridge is glazed, so that the passer-by can see the sky - ''see the stars''. The movement in the exhibition area is organized clockwise. The cloakroom and bathrooms are located on the -1 floor. The space allows you to place paintings, installations, small sculptures, interactive exhibitions. It is also possible to hold events on the street.

Technical information

The project is designed for an architectural studio for 10 employees, 100 people can stay in the exhibition space at a time. Light wood is used in the decoration, the floor is made of concrete
