The main motive uniting the project is the image of the Teplovodsk Canal, which has existed here since Peter the Great, but has been lost. From the historical past, two lime alleys have been preserved on the territory, which define the linear structure of the space. The concept reveals and enhances the linear nature of the territory.
The project has created a retail zone, a design code emphasizing local identity, an amphitheater with a stage for municipal events and spaces for games. The route along the canal offers a variety of events and activities. There is a game landscape for younger and older children, a skate park and parkour zones for teenagers, a sports route, recreation areas, privacy and walks. This is a multifunctional space designed to attract all residents of the quarter.
creating a large landscape allows you to make the environment safe for everyone. Children's spaces on the territory of the Teplovodsk Canal complement each other in terms of the different nature of the game and opportunities for development. Spaces for teenagers have been disbanded throughout the territory to avoid the formation of noisy and dangerous teenage groups.
The gaming pavilion closes the perspective of Antonovskaya Street, is the second significant point of attraction. In order to climb up, it is necessary to overcome a certain level of risk. When teenagers successfully cope with challenges and consciously take risks, it helps them to develop self-esteem, increase self-confidence. They learn to analyze and evaluate situations, make decisions and take responsibility for their actions
The project was commissioned by the Finnish Municipal District and meets the request of the administration. The concept of landscaping is an example of the harmonious integration of the space needed by teenagers into the existing complex historical environment.
