A large open space belonging to the Southern Federal University, called a «glade» in the common people, has become a favorite place for dog walking and outdoor recreation. The purpose of this project was to create a point of interest for the entire district.
The composition of the park is based on the combination of straight, pragmatic roads and additional circular systems. Artificial hills and islands were created to revive the flat terrain of the clearing. Also, the trees already existing in the glade were inscribed in the compositional solution.
In order to connect the projected space with its original appearance, it was decided to recreate squares - small wooden places created for recreation, which are the visiting card of the SFU glade. Highlighting the main parkway in orange was done to create a memorable image
On the territory of the park there are many recreation areas, an amphitheater, an exhibition area and a dog walking area. The materials needed to create artificial hills were obtained by digging up the land around the island. You can come to the park both for active pastime and for studying in the fresh air
