Project idea

When choosing a concept at the initial stage of project development, after analyzing existing analogues, it was decided to focus on the image of coffee grounds in order to more clearly reflect the essence and functionality of the building. For this purpose, an appropriate color scheme was chosen, and white perforated metal panels were used on the facade to convey the effect of milk foam for coffee. They not only make the façade more expressive, but also provide unique natural lighting that “plays” during the day and creates light and shade patterns in the interior.
The main idea of the volumetric-spatial solution of the building is the development of dynamics, which is achieved due to the presence of an inclined wall and a roof near one of the volumes of the building, where a dining room with a second light is set up.

Project description

The cafe is a stand-alone object that harmoniously fits into the surrounding space of the city. Estimated location - the intersection of the street. Karpinsky and st. Levanevsky in Penza.
The main idea of the volumetric-spatial solution of the building is the development of dynamics, which is achieved due to the presence of an inclined wall and a roof near one of the volumes of the building, where a dining room with a second light is set up.
In order to harmoniously fit the building into the environment, the project uses panoramic glazing with a semi-mirror effect.
The layout uses the principle of delimiting pedestrian flows into different functional blocks of the cafe building. To do this, the administrative, production areas are separated from the visitor by a wall, and the warehouse is moved to the basement floor. There are separate entrances for visitors and staff.
In order to create an accessible environment, the entrance groups are equipped with ramps.
You should also take into account the role of stairs in the interior, their contribution to the organization of internal space. The staircase itself, as an architectural element, is located in the main dining room, and its intricate shape definitely works on the interior and exterior, there is also a smoke-free staircase leading to the basement.
The master plan shows that parking for visitors for 10 cars is located on the side of the cafe building itself, and parking for staff and a platform for turning the loading machine are organized directly behind the cafe building. Before construction, a landscaping zone, benches for visitors and lighting systems are provided.
