As per the site’s plan, the walls of the structure are raised.
The walls come in an unjagged, soft form with curvatures.
Part of the site is dedicated to the passage of the crowd and also to control and handle the possible traffic in the area due to a large number of people visiting the gallery.
Laleh Park is considered to be the central point of the area. In order to utalize the parks greenery and view, we create a wide passageway from the park to the central point of the building.
We have designed a curvature in the south side of the building to control the light emitting from the south and also to benefit from the greenery of the park even more.
Parks greenery span to the top of the structure in a staircase manner.
We have placed niches on each side of the main street, to be both welcoming and also to have space for door placement.
And eventually, the greenery of the park spans to the roof of the building. Some openings are installed on the walls to let in more light. These openings are in place to establish a connection with outdoors and to make use of the view of Laleh park and the greenery on the edges of the building.
This building was built in the downtown and the cultural part of the city and was inspired by the central point of the site which is Laleh park. It has been designed with curved walls both on the inside and outside.
We have two main doors, one on the east side and one on the south side of the building. When we enter from the east side, on our right we see the lobby, reception, and the gallery which is divided into two floors. on our left we see a hallway that leads to the class lobby and the concert hall lobby. In the south corner of the building, there is a cafeteria that is a generally suitable private space for individuals waiting for the concert hall and/or work on their laptops.
We also have classes lobby. The classes are designed in a curved manner to be more suitable for group work and gatherings. The music class is designed is a staircase style according to the standards similar to the concert hall.
The concert hall has a slope based on the slope of the floor and descends into the floor. And in the end of the hall we have the stage and backstage. The walls of the concert hall extend to the second floor.
Building has a central void designed in an elemental style. It includes two escalators and two glass elevator boxes.
On the second level we have the library. It has a terrace which is ideal for individuals to rest or study. On this floor we have another cafeteria on the south corner, the second level of the concert hall, offices, and restaurants.
On the third level, we have a cafe-restaurant that utilizes the view from the terrace. Also we have theoretical classes, Management room and most importantly the marketplace divided into several different sections.
On the top and fourth level, there is the roof garden and the space designed to enjoy the view of Laleh park and downtown and also a space for jogging and cycling.
