The project aims to highlight the culture of the Dogon people of Mali.
The project begins with highlighting various elements of the rich culture of the Dogon people of Mali. The flagship element of the project is a museum for the conservation of the arts and crafts of this people. We also have a large archive room.
The project mimics the vernacular construction of the Dogons of the Bandiagara cliff in Mali where houses are built on rocks to protect against imminent attacks.
The buildings are made of earth, adobe to be more precise. They are covered with wood and straws.
The base is modeled in granite rock.
