Project idea

Following the political issues in Iran, the speed of the modernization process in Iran was greatly reduced and Iran's connection with the Western world was almost lost.
Religious approaches, such as creating various restrictions in the field of art and culture and creating restrictions for women's activities, were one of the results of the government.
The country's poverty and weak economy occurred due to the disconnection with the outside world, and Iran's economy faced many problems day by day, multiplying the prices and difficulty in meeting the basic necessities of life was one of its results.
Corruption in the government systems caused people to distrust each other, then corruption entered into different aspects of people's lives and made the situation worse than it was thought.
Here no one even knows their neighbors anymore. According to the mentioned introduction, the distance between artistic and cultural debates with people's common life grew day by day until the point where art and its related issues became a completely side interest and far from people's lives.
These issues have other social reasons that can be investigated. The distance between the social issues of art and life led me to start a project to solve these issues.

Project description

Various activities and events in Iran happen behind closed doors, fences, and walls. This desire for introversion in projects takes the place of unity and solidarity between different strata of society. The removal of walls, borders, and the connection of volumes and buildings with the city and sidewalks were prioritized.
Then the discussion of private and public environments is raised. In a normal building of culture centers, we generally see compact parts in the heart of a building, it is true that the culture center building is public, but the related parts are private parts for that culture center. By removing the boundaries of the cultural center and giving identity to each section by separating them, we emphasized its generality.
Not having a specific entrance was one of the solutions we thought of to further connect the complex with the city. By placing many holes and paths that pass through the complex, we tried to establish a greater connection between the street and the complex.

Creating urban spaces in Tehran is an important issue. The city of Tehran, the capital of Iran, is a city of speed and anxiety, there are few places in Tehran where you can pause for a few minutes and engage in various activities with the people around you. By creating urban spaces, in addition to solving this problem, we also solved the issue of inviting people into the complex.
After creating the distances between the volumes, we defined the frames that provide a correlation between the volumes. These frames became the main geometry of the project and all my parts use these frames visually and functionally

Technical information

The land is divided into six parts, in these six parts, there are four building volumes and the remaining two parts will be urban space. The 4 building volumes are connected to each other with frames and the two mentioned urban spaces are created from the intersection of the frames.
There is a gallery building in the northern part of the site, the gallery is on two floors and equipped with vertical access by stairs and elevator. The gallery space is divided into six huge cubes and divides the gallery space into 6 different parts.
On the west side of the gallery building, there is one of the designed urban spaces where gardening has been done and there are platforms for gathering.
On the south side of the gallery building, we see urban spaces in the center of the site, and in the western half of it, there is an educational building that is built on two floors and seven different classes.
In this building, all kinds of theoretical, practical, and workshop classes are seen. On the south side of the site, there are two buildings, a library, and an office-amphitheater. The library building has large openings on the east and west sides and is built on two floors.
The administrative building and the amphitheater are also located on two floors, the first floor is related to the lobby and the amphitheater hall, and the second floor is for various administrative departments.
All building volumes are created with the geometry of the frames
