Project idea

When forming the functional zones of the site, the task was to separate the quiet residential zone and the zone of the cultural center with a higher level of activity. It was decided to separate these two zones by a wide picturesque boulevard, which has a clear boundary and regular layout on the border with the cultural center, and on the border with the residential area repeats the silhouette of the building with smooth outlines. The main idea of the image of the multifunctional complex was to visually separate the main functional areas. The complex represents both a set of simple geometric elements connected by a common space. The dominant feature is the planetarium block, which combines the aesthetics of industries typical for this area.

Project description

The object is located in the peripheral part of the city of St. Petersburg. In these areas of the city there are no community centers where people could not go to an exhibition or attend a cultural event. Such a complex will allow residents of the district not to go to the city center to meet the basic needs for communication and cultural education. The presence of offices, a library, a food court, cinema halls in the complex will not only create an interesting space for residents, but also provide new jobs in the area.

Technical information

The design of the multifunctional complex uses three main finishing materials: red brick, white plaster and black seamed steel.
