Project idea

The main objective of this resort design is to create a welcoming and unforgettable recreational environment for its guests. The natural topography of the land, which features slopes, presents an opportunity to incorporate breathtaking views of the mountains and the city of Bandung from various perspectives. The majestic trees that encompass the site serve as a source of inspiration for both the restaurant and villa designs. The aim is to establish a serene atmosphere where visitors can unwind, savor the refreshing mountain breeze, and fully indulge in the amenities and offerings of the resort.

Project description

"Whispering Pines" creates a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, reminiscent of the refreshing coolness found within a forest. The name portrays majestic trees, gentle winds, and a serene setting. It also hints at the immersive experience visitors can expect amidst nature, where they can indulge in the amenities of a resort while being embraced by the revitalizing breeze of the surrounding environment. The land's location in a popular tourist destination makes it highly suitable for resort development. The resort offers a diverse range of facilities, such as a restaurant, villa accommodations, an amphitheater, a playground, a mini zoo, an art gallery, a train ride, a souvenir shop, and a garden area.

Technical information

In this resort, each building is designed with a split-level layout to maintain the natural topography of the land. The structures primarily utilize concrete as the main construction material, while wooden elements are incorporated into the roof construction. The use of natural materials helps to create a harmonious relationship with the surrounding environment.

The architectural design also prioritizes the integration of natural lighting and ventilation. The buildings are carefully planned to optimize the entry of natural light, allowing it to illuminate the interior spaces. This approach not only reduces the reliance on artificial lighting but also enhances the overall ambiance and connection with the outdoors. Furthermore, ample ventilation is incorporated into the design, facilitating the flow of fresh air throughout the buildings and promoting a comfortable and sustainable environment.
